EcoForm Mannequins

Introducing EcoForm

At Proportion London, alongside sister company Kesslers London, sustainability is at the core of everything we do; we are dedicated to pioneering eco-friendly solutions in the retail industry.

Our latest innovation, the EcoForm mannequin, embodies this commitment by significantly reducing our environmental impact. Offering a 96% reduction in carbon output when compared to traditional fibreglass mannequins, which has been officially quoted and tested by Carbon Quota.

Proportion London’s EcoForm mannequins were designed as part of the ongoing efforts to create sustainable, high-quality display solutions, that meet the growing demand for environmentally responsible products.

There are no extra costs for EcoForm mannequins, and no minimum order quantity, allowing for no sacrifice to quality, aesthetics, or customisation. We want sustainable alternatives to be just as accessible as their fibreglass equivalents.

Unmatched Sustainability

A Significantly Lower Carbon Footprint:

Proportion London’s EcoForm mannequins have been meticulously designed and manufactured to minimise their carbon footprint.

According to a comprehensive carbon footprint analysis, conducted by CarbonQuota our EcoForm mannequin emits a 96% reduction in carbon output, when compared to traditional fibreglass mannequins.

EcoForm has no extra costs, no minimum order, and no sacrifice to Proportion London’s industry leading standards and customisation options.

At Proportion London and Kesslers London, we believe a sustainable alternative should be just as accessible as its fibreglass equivalent.

Eco-Friendly Manufacture Processes

The EcoForm mannequin utilises a combination of eco-friendly materials that drastically reduce environmental impact:

  • The biodegradable, recyclable, natural materials used for EcoForm mannequins collectively contribute to lower carbon footprint compared to fibreglass and are processed with sustainability, and end of life as the priority.
  • Water-Based Paint: Water-based paint is used due to its lower toxicity to marine environments and reduced ozone depletion effects, ensuring a safer option for the environment.

Sustainable Packaging

The EcoForm mannequin packaging is also considered with sustainability first.

The use of double-wall cartons, kraft paper, and shredded corrugate significantly reduces environmental impact by opting for fewer and locally sourced components.

The Environmental Benefits

The production process for the EcoForm mannequin has been refined to reduce emissions.

The Proportion London team are currently organising solar panels to be fitted at our purpose-built production facility, which will further decrease our reliance on non-renewable energy sources, thereby reducing production-related emissions.

Local Sourcing and Efficient Transport

We prioritise local sourcing of materials to minimise upstream transport emissions.

By reducing the distance materials need to travel, we cut down on fuel consumption and the associated greenhouse gas emissions. When local procurement is not feasible, we’re aiming for marine transport over road transport, as it is more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly.

Recyclable: to avoid landfill

The EcoForm mannequin is designed with the end of its life cycle as a priority.

Unlike fibreglass mannequins that typically end up in landfills, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions and potential soil contamination, Proportion London’s EcoForm mannequins can be reused, remanufactured, or recycled, aligning with a circular economy model and reducing overall environmental impact.

Evertreen

Extending the sustainable future even further, Proportion London and Kesslers London are proud to be working with Evertreen to help combat deforestation.

For every EcoForm mannequin bought, Evertreen will plant 1 tree.

So far, 500 trees have been planted. You can see the Proportion London and Kesslers London forest here.
